Electric Circuits
Describe what is an electric current.
What is a simple circuit?
A circuit is a route from which electricity can flow through from the negative side of the battery , electrons flow through the conductive side, through the wire in the bulb causing the bulb to light
Describe what is current.
A current is electricity going through a circuit
Explain what is voltage. A measure of energy available to move the push that makes the electrons move
Series and Parallel Circuits
Use the link Circuits
Create a series circuit and look at how bright the bulbs are.
Remove one of the bulbs and see what happens to the other light.
Create a parallel circuit and look at how bright the bulbs are.
Remove one of the bulbs and see what happens to the other light.
In which circuit are the light bulbs brighter?
In Christmas tree lights how would you want the bulbs wired? Series or Parallel? Explain your choice.

Tena koe Lloyd,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you begin to make contributions to your blog! Are there any other ways you can think of to present your learning? Some images would have been very helpful in explaining things like circuits and how electricity works.
Miss :)
